Summer is on its way and for many of you will also mean an end of year bedroom clear out out is due.
Good news! The Guild's annual Leave Liverpool Tidy campaign is back which means you can donate your unwanted belongings, support amazing charities and avoid items going to landfill.
πWhere to donate?
Find British Heart Foundation and Fareshare donation boxes in:
- Crown Place reception
- Greenbank reception
- Vine Court post room
- Philharmonic Court study room
- Dover Court reception
β οΈ Before you donate, remember:
- To make sure all donations are clean and dry, no mouldy plates please!
- Donations are going to charity and must be in listed below and in good condition
- To clearly label your donation bag are so we know what's inside
- Either use your own bag or pick up an official Leave Liverpool Tidy bag from your Hall reception from 18th May
- Melville & Tudor residents can use the donation points in Vine Court's post room

Look out for the big red box in your Hall reception area and donate unwanted:
π clothes & shoes
π© accessories
π books
πΆ plates, cups, cutlery
β‘ small working electricals e.g. bedside lamp, hair dryers, cameras
Please donate knives directly to your reception team.
Please do not donate duvets, pillows, broken or dirty items
π₯« Donate to Fareshare:
Look out for the crate in your Hall reception and donate unwanted:
π unopened dried foods e.g. pasta, rice
π₯« tins, jars of food
Please do not donate out of date, perishable or opened food items
π Other recyclable items:
Batteries - donate old batteries to the battery bin in your Hall reception
Food - Any perishable food can go in your kitchen's food waste bin but be sure to remove the packaging first! Since there's a few weeks left of term, avoid any food waste by using what's in your freezer and back of the cupboard.

Sadly not quite everything can be donated to your reception's collection box so be sure to read what you can and cannot donate first.
Avoid contaminating the donation points! Any unwanted items can't be donated to BHF or Fareshare should go in a general waste or mixed recycling bin.
