Spending the summer in Halls? Campus might be quieter during the summer months but the city is packed with events, activities and festivals to explore.
Make your summer count on campus with everything that's on:

Get active this summer with free classes, equipment and sessions taking place with Active Liverpool.
- Free outdoor bootcamp for 40 min total body conditioning classes, Tuesdays & Thursday's at 12.30pm - register here
- Walk and Talk, reach your step count goals and de-stress with a lunch time walk on Mondays & Wednesdays at 1pm - meet outside the Sports Centre reception
- Free outdoor equipment can be booked and hired at the Sports Centre e.g. basketball, table tennis, beach volleyball, 1V1 football and exercise equipment
- Turn up and play is Sport Liverpool's free weekly drop in Badminton and Pickleball sessions every Thursday (starting Thursday 18 June) in the Sports & Fitness centre, 1-2pm. All levels welcome, just drop in!

Whether you're looking for something crafty to unwind after a library session or want to explore a bit further afield this summer, the Guild has plenty on:
- Visit Hilbre Island, 12th June
- Plant Pot Painting & Herb Planting, 24th June
- Visit Formby Woods, 8th July
- Crafternoon, 21st July
- Visit Chester, 6th August
Currently the trips are sold out, however keep checking the Guild's website and Instagram in the event that more tickets are added!
Be a tourist in your own city! Whether you're working your way through your Liverpool bucket list or are looking somewhere new to explore, here's what's in store this summer:
- Africa Oyé, live music, stalls, food, DJs in Sefton park, 20th-21st June - tickets are discounted for students here
- Celebrate National Museums Liverpool's 40th anniversary - did you know Liverpool has the largest number of museums and galleries in the UK outside of London? Check out the free summer exhibition celebrating Liverpool culture & history
- Visit Ness Gardens - pick a sunny day and head over to Ness to explore the botanical gardens. Students can enter for just £1 - more info here
- Visit Toxteth: The Harlem of Europe - with the exhibition due to end this August, there's still time to catch the exhibition right here in Victoria Gallery & Museum on campus - more info here
