Decorating your bedroom is one of the most exciting parts of moving into Halls! From choosing bedding to arranging your new desk space and putting your own stamp on it.

This Feel Good February, we’re inviting residents to share photos that showcase their style, décor and colours that have made your space your own.

Have your room photographed for the Accommodation website to WIN a meal on us!

Show us how you’ve made your home-from-home in Halls! Enter up to three photos of your bedroom by emailing hallslife@liverpool.ac.uk before 23:59 on Monday 23rd February 2026. Please include your name, Hall and student ID when entering.

The Accommodation Team will select winning bedrooms and arrange for a professional photographer to take photos of your room on Monday 23rd March 2026.

Those who have their bedroom selected and photographed will receive a £25 to spend on food across the University's campus outlets e.g. Guild Courtyard, Bertie & Bella's, Augustus John pub.

If you consent to having your bedroom photographed, the images will be used for marketing purposes on the Accommodation and Halls Life websites.

Here's why...

In recent Accommodation Surveys, residents have told us that our Accommodation website could do with a refresh and some updated photos of Halls. We have listened and are looking to photograph bedrooms of current residents to share on our website.

Photography 📷

By entering this competition, you are giving permission for the images to be used in future promotional materials and on social media, even if not selected as a winner. Make sure your bedroom is in top condition and photo-ready!

Please note:

-The £25 to spend on food in campus outlets will be awarded to entrants who have had their bedroom selected and successfully photographed. If the photography is unable to be arranged for any reason, the £25 prize would not be awarded.

-The value of £25 would be added to your Loyalty Plus account meaning that you can tap and spend on food on campus e.g. burrito in the Guild or pizza at the Augustus John pub.

-Loyalty Plus is the University's app where you can spend and save on campus. If you haven't already registered, don't worry it's not too late! Find out more here.

-The Accommodation Team are aiming to take photos of selected bedrooms on Monday 23rd March. You don't have to be present for the photographs but you can be if you'd prefer.

-While we aim to take photographs on Monday 23rd March. This is subject to change and we appreciate your understanding. Please be reminded that your room is not photographed, the voucher will not be awarded.

-This competition is open to students living in University of Liverpool Halls only (Crown Place, Greenbank, Vine Court, Melville Grove, Tudor Close, Dover Court, Philharmonic Court).

-We want to see as many room types as possible! No matter whether you live in a studio or on a shared corridor, everyone is welcome to enter

-The voucher will be available to spend on food only in the University’s campus outlets. Find a full list of venues here

-Please be mindful of breaking fire safety regulations before entering this competition. Take a minute to remind yourself of what items are not permitted in Halls before entering e.g. candles, mains-powered fairy lights – click here for a full list!
