About to start uni this September? Here's your reminder to get your free meningitis B vaccine (MenB) 💉
Booking in to get a vaccine might not be top of your to-do list but since it's now recommended for anyone at university, it's time to make it a priority.
Going to uni can involve lots of close mixing at social events, so getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and everyone around you.
Who is recommended to get it?
The NHS recommend the vaccine to all students who are:
- under the age of 25 and are starting university
- going to live in university halls for the first time
Give yourself peace of mind as you settle into student life and book your vaccine as soon as you can. Book your vaccine here 🔗
How does it work?
You'll need just a quick two-dose course, given at least 28 days apart.
Think it's too late to get both courses before you arrive? No problem! You can have your first dose before arriving and you second dose once you've moved to Liverpool.
Or better still, both doses once you've arrived! Although it's recommended to get your vaccines booked sooner rather than later.
It's never too late to get the vaccine so don't put it off - book your vaccine today! It's free and easy to do.
